Patty Jakobi-Stopper P.T., O.C.S., C.S.C.S.

Patty graduated Suma Cum Laude from Cal State University, Northridge, affiliated with UCLA in 1982. She worked in the Outpatient Department at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for 5 years, then opened P.T. Works, Inc. in Valencia in 1988. She sold this practice in 1995 and worked for HealthSouth for just over three years. She left the corporate world and opened Santiago Physical Therapy in 1999. Her clinic has since thrived in this small town.

Patty has remained committed to providing her patients with top quality service and care. Continuing Education has been a hallmark of that goal. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Orthopedic Section.  Patty acquired her Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) designation in 2005, taking a year to study for the rigorous annual national exam.  Passing this test sets her apart from many therapists working in orthopedic settings. This certification along with her years of experience makes her a well-qualified therapist to fully detect, understand and treat orthopedic problems in an efficient manner.

Her enthusiasm for her profession and dedication to her patients all contribute to the success Santiago PT enjoys today.

The Acton Community, Patty spent 2 years assisting in conditioning for the Vasquez Football Teams, planned a “Walkathalon” for 2 different events at the Acton Park, has taught a segment on anatomy and how it relates to physics at Vasquez High School, has participated in Health Fairs, and the Chamber of Commerce Board.
